Celeste Sansegraw Runs Onto The Regional Radio Dream Team

(Potosi) Celeste Sansegraw of the Potosi Trojans was voted onto the Regional Radio Dream Team for Girls Cross Country. A stellar season for Sansegraw culminated in an all-state finish at the Class 3 state championships in a time of 20 minutes four seconds.

Sansegraw hoped her performance this year was enough to get on the Dream Team.

Her coach, Amanda Politte, was voted as the Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year…

Sansegraw is continuing her athletic career at Missouri Southern State University. She says Politte was a big reason why she chose MSSU.

Sansegraw’s personal record in the 5K is 19 minutes 30 seconds. She finished in second at the MAAA conference meet and the Class 3 district meet while taking first place at Van Buren this year.
