Central Boys Open With Win Over Festus on J-98

(Park Hills) Central opened the boys basketball season with an 83-49 victory over Festus at the T.J. Foulon Fieldhouse in Park Hills on J-98. The Rebels turned a four point lead into a 19 point halftime advantage and led by as many as 38, behind 42 points from sophomore guard Jobe Bryant. Bryant hit four threes…

Festus falls to 1-1. Both teams open play in the Gene Steighorst Tournament in Hillsboro on Tuesday. 2nd seeded Central plays Windsor while 3rd seed Festus gets Northwest. If both teams win they’ll play again on Friday.
