Central Ends Season in Quarters

(Park Hills) The 7th ranked Central Rebels football season came to an end in the Class Three quarterfinals as they fell to the number one ranked St. Mary’s Dragons 44-7 on J-98. Central moved the ball consistently, but could never reach the endzone on offense. The Dragons scored touchdowns on their first five possessions with Kevin Coleman as the focal point. Jett Bridges showed accuracy all night completing 21 of his 25 passes for 159 yards and Jobe Bryant led the receiving corps with eight catches for 82 yards.
Dayshawn Welch finishes his record setting career with 5277 yards and 66 touchdowns. He ran the ball 13 times for 73 yards in his final game.
Coach Kory Schweiss knew his team had to play their absolute best in order to win this game.
