(Springfield) The Central girls basketball team finished the season in 3rd place after defeating Southern Boone 57-39 Friday afternoon in Springfield. Central created a little separation in the first quarter and then pushed away by 14 in the second….

Back to back triples in the 4th quarter helped Central slam the door….

Kinley Norris led Central with 14 points. Taylor O’Connor scored 12 and her sister Alyssa scored 10.
Central shot 58% in the game and held Southern Boone to 34%. The Rebels hit five of seven three pointers.
