Central Girls Join Boys in Class 4 Final Four

(Hillsboro) The 5th ranked Central girls have joined their boys in advancing to the Class 4 state final four with a 46-42 win over Lift for Life (Hawks) at Jefferson College in Hillsboro.

The Hawks built the game’s largest lead, an eight point advantage, at 29-21, but Central erased it with a 10-1 run…

Lift for Life grabbed the lead back and held it until Central tied it with 2:18 to play. And then the Rebels took the lead…

Lift for Life never scored again and Central punched its ticket to the final four.
Khloe Dischbein led Central with 12 points.
Zha Harris scored 11 for Lift for Life.

The 27-3 Rebels will play Nevada/Benton Thursday at 4:00 at Great Southern Bank Arena in Springfield. We’ll be on the air at 3:45 with the Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show. It’s the second trip to the final four for the Central girls. They won the state championship in 2015.
Lift for Life closes the year at 14-16.
