(Park Hills) The boys championship is set at the Central Christmas Tournament. The top seed Central Rebels defeated the four seed Steelville Cardinals 66-41 and the six seed Hillsboro Hawks beat seven seed Potosi 64-31.
Central opened their game with a 10-0 run but Steelville kept the game within reach in the first half. The Rebels led at half 32-22. An 11-2 run for the Rebels to start the second half gave them separation that led to a 25 point victory.
Caden Casey led the Rebels with 20 points and seven rebounds. Jobe Bryant supplied 17 with 10 rebounds and seven assists. Triston Stewart and Zack Boyd gave 10 points each. Central improves to 9-1. Steelville moves to 8-2 and will face Potosi in the third place game.

Hillsboro moves into the title game at 8-2 against Central. The Rebels beat the Hawks by 22 in the Gene Stieghorst tournament semis earlier this year. Potosi goes into the third place game at 9-2 against Steelville, the only other team to beat them.
