Central Hoops Star Breven McMullen Makes it Back-to-Back Dream Team Selections

(Park Hills, Mo.) One of the premier basketball players in southeast Missouri, Breven McMullen of the Central Rebels showed out in his senior year and played his way onto the Regional Radio Dream Team for the second consecutive season.

McMullen says it means a lot to him to get the recognition for all the hard work he puts into his game.

Allen Davis took over as head coach of the Central boys basketball program this year and helped guide the Rebels to a 21-7 record which included a Conference Championship and a District Championship.

McMullen says he’s lucky to have gotten to play for a coach like Davis.

McMullen will be heading off to Link Year Prep in Branson in the fall which will give him the opportunity to hone his abilities further as he continues to prepare for a collegiate career.

He explains his decision to attend Link Year.

This season McMullen averaged 22 points per game, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and shot 51% from three-point range.

He was named MAAA All-Conference, Class 4 All-District, and Class 4 All-State.
