Central Softball’s Kelsie Politte Staying Home To Play At Mineral Area College

(Park Hills) Kelsie Politte is a center fielder for the Central Rebel High School softball team in Park Hills. She’ll stay in town after graduating in the spring to play collegiate softball at Mineral Area College. Politte was recruited by new MAC softball coach C.J. Wright, who was previously coaching at West County High School. Politte wasn’t always planning to play college softball, so she tells us what changed her mind.
Politte, a 2021 MAAA all-conference second teamer, tells us which areas of her game she thinks Coach Wright can help her improve on.
Politte also helped the Rebel volleyball team win the MAAA regular season and tournament crowns this fall. A signing ceremony was held for Kelsie Politte at Central High School Tuesday afternoon.
