Casey was a multisport athlete in high school. While participating in track and field at MAC Casey excelled in the decathlon. In his one year of competition Casey finished 14th in the indoor decathlon at nationals and was the Division Three runner up during the outdoor season. He’s getting more comfortable with the event, but he says he still not close to mastering it…

The decathlon includes the 100 meter dash, the 400, 110 hurdles, long jump, high jump, pole vault, discus, javelin, shot put and 15 hundred. The indoor heptathlon eliminates the javelin, disc and 400 and shortens the 100 meters and hurdles to 60 meters. Casey will study business administration at Lindenwood. Because of COVID he can actually enter Lindenwood as a freshman athletically.
