Central-Park Hills School Board Expects Decreased Funding in 2024
The Central-Park Hills School Board announced the budget for this fiscal year will remain about the same as the last several school years. Dr. Ashley McMillan is the superintendent, and he expects a big drop-off in funding in fiscal year 2024.

Most of the funding increase from the last few years went to hiring more teachers to help catch students up from missed class time during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. McMillan says that the even with decrease in funds, teachers will not have to worry about being laid off.

The Central School Board will meet again in October.
