(PERRYVILLE) Two 3-3 teams in the middle of Class 3 District 1 will battle for positioning this Friday night as we head into the final leg of the season. The Central Rebels visit the Perryville Pirates on Friday night coming off a tough 7-6 loss to the Potosi Trojans. Head coach of the Rebels Kory Schweiss says the Rebels struggle to finish drives is what cost them that game.

Coach Schweiss says that they’re going to try to establish the run against a tough Perryville defense.

The Pirates this season have struggled to find some consistency on offense, averaging 21 points per game in their three wins but under 6 per game in their three losses. Coach Blaine Boss credits their struggles to a number of issues.

Coach Boss says what makes Central tough is their ability to run a multitude of offenses.

Central and Perryville both look to climb above .500 on the year when they face off this Friday Night on J98. Kickoff set for 7:00 with the Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show at 6:00.
