Central Rebels Running Back On The Baseball Diamond

(Park Hills) The Central Rebels baseball team is back on the diamond this spring and is looking to capitalize off a solid season last year. The Rebels went 16-8 in 2021, including a 7-game winning streak in the month of April. Head Coach Ronnie Calvird says he saw some flashes of how good his team could be.

Calvird expects to see more of the same from his Rebels this season. He says that speed is what will set them apart in their 2022 campaign.

Coach Calvird says he has some dynamic sophomores stepping up to the plate for him this season.

The Rebels are currently 1-1 and will travel to Arcadia Valley on Thursday.
