CENTRAL SCHOOLS ADJUST MASKING RULES

(Park Hills) The Central Schools enacted a mask mandate for students that started on Monday, September 13th. It expires on Friday (9/24). Superintendent Dr. Ashley McMillian says the board decided not to renew the mandate based on improved numbers in the school system.

Those protocols include:
Properly-fitting masks are to be worn correctly and consistently for the 14 days after the last date of exposure Properly-fitting masks must be worn correctly and consistently on bus transportation.
Physical distancing is to be maintained when possible.
Student health should be evaluated/monitored daily for any signs or symptoms of COVID-19.

Dr. McMillian says they will monitor numbers daily and adjust accordingly…

The St. Francois County Health Center still recommends vaccinations, masking, and social distancing as the best mitigation measures to slow the spread of COVID-19.
