(PARK HILLS) The Central Christmas Tournament Girls 3rd Place and Championship Game will determine who finishes in what spot Monday on J98. In the third place game, the #5 Arcadia Valley Tigers will play the #6 Ste. Genevieve Dragons. The Tigers beat the Dragons earlier this year 72-61. Head coach of the Ste. Genevieve Dragons Jordanna Walk-Robison says that they were caught off guard by an Arcaida Valley player who had a hot shooting night and couldn’t respond.

Following the boys 3rd place game, the Girls Championship game will be settled. The 9-1 #2 South Iron Panthers lone loss came to the top seeded Central Rebels not even two weeks ago by a score of 55-36. Head coach Lawrence Graves tells us what caused his team to struggle offensively against Central.

The undefeated 11-0 #1 Central Rebels are playing for their 6th Championship in a row in their own tournament. Josh Mapes, the Rebels head coach says he’s just happy to play in the Championship Game.

Tipoff of the girls third place game is set for 3:00 with the Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show set to begin at 2:45. The girls 3rd place and Championship Games will be followed by the boys 3rd place and Championship Games.
