Central, Ste. Gen set to face off in MAAA softball tilt

It’s a battle for second place in the MAAA Wednesday on the softball diamond when the Central Rebels visit the Ste. Genevieve Dragons on KREI. Ste. Gen has started the 2019 season 5-3 overall and 3-2 in conference play, but the Dragons can tie for second in the current MAAA standings if they beat Central, which is 4-1 in league play. Rebels head coach Bryan Wallen is more concerened with his team’s mindset than what the Dragons might do.
Central comes into Wednesday’s game at 6-4 overall. You can hear the Rebels take on Ste. Genevieve with the Flieg’s Equipment Pregame Show starting coverage at 4:15 on AM-800 KREI.
