Central Takes Class 3 Dist 2 Title Over Ste. Genevieve

(Park Hills) The Central Rebels beat the Ste. Genevieve Dragons three sets to one to win the Class 3 District 2 volleyball title at the T.J. Foulon Fieldhouse in Park Hills on J-98. Central raced to an eight point advantage in set one only to see Ste. Gen go on a 20-9 run and take their only lead at 28-27. Ste. Genevieve ends the season 20-6 with MAAA regular season and tournaments championships. Central goes into the class three state bracket at 24-5-3. They head to Owensville to play 8-6 Visitation Academy in the sectional on Saturday.
