Central Takes Their 4-1 Record To Ste. Genevieve For A Battle With The 3-2 Dragons On J98

(Ste. Genevieve) The Class Three 9th ranked Central Rebels take their 4-1 record on the road for a second straight week in a matchup with the 3-2 Ste. Genevieve Dragons Friday night on J-98. Central is averaging 60 points-per-game this season, but head coach Kory Schweiss believes this could be the toughest defense his team has faced all season.

But it’s not just this year. The Dragons have always played Central pretty well, with their most recent win over the Rebels coming in the 2019 District Semifinals and losing by just five last season.

The challenge for Ste. Gen will be stopping the Rebels’ offense. Dragons’ head coach Jay Pope knows that’s not an easy task.

If the game doesn’t become a defensive battle, Pope believes his team is prepared to keep up with Central on offense.

The Rebels and the Dragons kickoff at 7 Friday night on J-98. The Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show will start at 6.
