Central to Host Seckman in a Battle of Contrasting Offensive Styles on J98

(Park Hills) The Central Rebels put their undefeated record on the line again as they welcome the 3 and 2 Seckman Jaguars to Park Hills tonight. The Rebels’ offensive attack continues to move along like a machine, they defeated Fredericktown 61-7 last week behind quarter back Jett Bridges and running back Dayshawn Welch. However, head coach Kory Schweiss says this week they need to rely on their defense.

Seckman runs a tough, smash mouth football style offense that leans healthily on long sustained drives. Their offense directly reflects the mindset of team, and head coach Nick Baer says they are ready for the challenge of playing an undefeated team.

The Jags look to eat clock and keep the explosive Rebel offense on the sideline. Baer says it helps the defense immensely when they get to rest on the bench.

Schweiss knows how important time of possession will be. His team needs to be close, to the Jaguars, in how long they have the ball.

The Rebels and the Jaguars face off tonight on J98, kick off coming up tonight at 7.
