Central Tops Farmington In Regular Season Finale

(Farmington) For the first time since 1960 and 1961 Central beat Farmington in back to back seasons. The Class Three 7th ranked Rebels won this edition 49-14 at Haile Memorial Stadium in Farmington. Central forced Farmington to punt on the game’s first possession and then gave a preview of what was to come…

Quarterback Jett Bridges played sensational. He completed his first 14 passes and finished 15 for 16 with 290 yards and five touchdowns…

Farmington best shot came with the second quarter running out…

Central got the ball to start the second half. Dayshawn Welch took it 55 yards for a touchdown on the first play and then left no doubt at the beginning of the fourth quarter…

Welch totalled 258 yards from scrimmage on only nine touches.

Central coach Kory Schweiss says they had a good plan and solid execution against the Farmington run game…

Jake Bishop was the bright spot for Farmington. The receiver caught 12 passes for 141 yards.
