Central vs Dexter in Class 3 Sectional on J-98

(Farmington) The 4th ranked Central Rebels raced through Class 4 District 2 with wins of 40 and 20 points. Central enters the state bracket at 25-3. Tonight they’ll face 20-8 Dexter in the Class 4 sectional at the Farmington Civic Center. The Bearcats came from 11 down at the half to defeat Cape Notre Notre to take Class 4 District 1. It’s the first district championship for the Bearcats since 2004. Cole Nichols propelled them with 18 in the win. This is Central’s third straight crack at the state bracket. Coach Brad Gross says the growing success of his program is a function of his players staying together for so long…
