Central’s Adele Sherrill Sinks A Spot on Dream Team

Central senior Adele Sherrill dedicated her high school golf career to one phrase “Don’t Quit.” Area coaches saw her resiliency this year and selected her to be part of the 2021 Dream Team for Boy’s Golf. Sherrill is the only girl in school history to qualify for the boy’s state golf tournament. She says she was surprised when she heard her name called.

Sherrill decided to put major focus onto one part of her game, which gave her a leg-up on her competition.

Whenever she gets frustrated or down during a round, she always remembers something her dad told her.

Sherill wanted to thank the people closest to her that always showed her support.

Alongside being a Dream Team Athlete, Sherill was 2-time all-conference and 1-time all-district.
