Central’s Allie Kelly Scores Second Dream Team Nod

(Park Hills) Allie Kelly of the Central Rebels was voted onto the Regional Radio Softball Dream Team for the second year in a row. Kelly had a .493 batting average and clubbed four home runs for the Rebels and excelled in the circle with a record of 12-6 and 113 strikeouts. Kelly says her final season at Central was very fun.

Kelly tells us what the biggest improvement was from her freshman season to this past season.

Kelly struggled at the plate in the beginning of the season but worked hard to end the year on a strong run.

Asked what one of her favorite memories of playing softball at Central was, Kelly pointed to the MAAA tournament this past season.

Kelly will continue her softball career at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff. Kelly has also been named 2nd Team All-State three times.
