Central’s Brad Gross Voted As Dream Team Boys Basketball Co-Coach Of The Year

(Park Hills) Following its best season in program history, Central Rebel boys basketball head coach Brad Gross was voted as the Regional Radio Dream Team Boys Basketball Co-Coach of the Year.

Dusty Dinkins from South Iron received the same honor.

Central ended up 2nd place in Class 4 after falling to powerhouse Vashon in the state championship game. Gross says this award should be shared with those that helped make this season a memorable one for the Rebels.

Along with Dream Team Player of the Year Jobe Bryant, the Rebels returned all but one player from last year’s team, and they got some help in the form of all-state senior Mason Williams, who missed last season due to injury. Gross says the expectations were high before the season even started.

Williams, Triston Stewart, Kendall Horton and Collin McMullen all played important roles in their final season for the Rebels. Gross says they will all be missed.

Gross had a lot of people to give thanks to.

Central went 28-4 this season.
