Central’s Brent Wagner Comments on Being Named Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Play It Forward Athlete of the Week

(Park Hills, Mo.) Central’s Brent Wagner helped lead the Rebels boys basketball team to a Class 4 District 2 Championship last week, and as a result he was named our Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Play It Forward Athlete of the Week.

In Central’s two district games, Wagner averaged 14.5 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assists and 1.5 steals.

Wagner says it means a lot to him to be named athlete of the week but he can’t take all the credit.

Having just wrapped up his final season with the Rebels, Wagner reflects on his time playing for Central and says it has been an awesome experience.

Wagner has his sights set on continuing his playing career at the college level and says he’s ready to get back in the gym to make that happen.

As part of the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Play It Forward Athlete of the Week, Brent Wagner received a t-shirt, a certificate, and chose to have Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy donate $25 to the Carlie Huff Foundation.
