Central’s Eaton Signs with East Central College Softball

(Park Hills) One of the Central Rebels’ best softball players over the past few years has found herself a home for the next four years as Aubree Eaton signed Friday to continue her softball career with the East Central College Falcons.

Eaton says she had the opportunity to practice with the Falcons and that was all she needed to know it was a perfect fit.

Like every spring sport athlete in the class of 2021 in Missouri, Eaton lost out on her junior season when the pandemic brought everything to a screeching halt back in April.

She did have the opportunity to continue playing with the JeffCo Xpress over the summer, one of the premier travel teams in the area, but she says when she could not play, she kept working hard to improve.

As a member of the state runner-up softball team her freshman year with Central back in 2018 and having won 38 games over her two seasons playing with the Rebels, Eaton says she has had plenty of great experiences donning the Park Hills red and white.

Eaton joins an East Central College softball team that went 3-7 in the spring of 2020 before the season was shut down due to the pandemic.
