Central’s Sydney Miles Races Onto The Softball Dream Team

(Park Hills) The third member of the Central Rebels on our Regional Radio Softball Dream Team is freshman Sydney Miles. She’s joined by fellow freshman Kaydence Cosby and senior Allie Kelly on the team after helping Central to a 4th place finish in the state this past season. Miles was a bit surprised to hear her name called.

Miles led the team in batting average, on-base percentage and OPS with a slash line of .500/.611/1.497. Miles played shortstop and had many highlight plays that made her coach, Taylor Geile, a fan at times.

Miles wouldn’t mind another trip to the state semifinals in Springfield.

Miles had many supporters over this past season.

Miles was also named 1st Team All-State for the Rebels.
