Change In Funeral Procession For Patrolman Burns

(Bonne Terre) There has been a change concerning the funeral procession on Sunday for Bonne Terre Patrolman Lane Burns, who was killed in the line of duty last Thursday.

The funeral will still be Saturday at noon with visitation starting at nine o’clock.

The funeral processon will leave C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre on Sunday morning at nine o’clock for the interment service at the Harvey Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri at 2 o’clock.

The procession will travel through Burns hometown of Carthage in route to the cemetery.

Pastor Brian Freeman will officiate the service.

Memorials can be made to the Backing Corporal Worley Fund at any First State Community Bank or Backstoppers.
