Cicada Mania to Soon To Hit Missouri
(Farmington) This year marks a rare convergence as two significant cicada broods, the 13-year Brood and the 17-year Brood, will emerge simultaneously, an event occurring only once every 221 years.

For the listening area, we will not see both periodical broods.
It will be loud enough for us when Brood 19 emerges, also known as The Great Southern Brood, which emerges from the ground every 13 years.
