Cities dealing with pothole issues

(Festus, Crystal City) It’s no surprise that potholes have become a problem all across the area on roadways. Both Festus and Crystal City have put in a lot of time filling them and with that comes temporary road closures. Crystal City City Administrator Jason Eisenbeis says they have many numerous issues all across the city.

Festus City Administrator Greg Camp says they have had several as well.

Eisenbeis says the problem is….the better material and mixture are not readily available.

In the meantime, both Festus and Crystal City continue to do temporary patchwork around their cities.
