(Farmington) The City of Farmington Municipal Court announced today that its March court dates, set for Wednesday the 18th and Wednesday the 25th, will be postponed until April. Tim Porter, the city of Farmington’s Emergency Management Direct, explains.
The city closed three public spaces today as well. The Farmington Public Library, the Civic Center and Farmington OAKS Senior Center closed due to the Coronavirus and COVID-19 outbreak. Porter says all of those were well calculated and based on advice from many sources.
These closings are precautionary. If someone were to test positive in the area, Porter says the city would have to change the way it does things.
There have been six confirmed cases of the virus in Missouri, with 164 tests coming back negative. For up to date information on the Coronavirus and COVID-19 go to MyMoInfo.com
