City of Festus positive Covid case prompts mandatory mask wearing

(Festus) The Festus City Council passed an ordinance at Monday’s night’s meeting to mandate mask wearing for all city employees while on the job. Festus City Administrator Greg Camp says the city had an employee test positive for Covid-19 recently.

Camp says luckily there were major problems during that time frame.

The Festus city employee mandatory mask mandate officially goes into effect next week.
