City of Festus purchasing new equipment on recently implemented budget

(Festus) The City of Festus is a few weeks into its new fiscal year.
City Administrator Greg Camp says with the new budget taking effect at the beginning of the month, some purchases have already been made by the city council.
The city is also looking at the results of its satisfaction survey sent out to residents to see what other improvements are needed around town.
Other items approved are new car body cameras, license plate readers, and FLOCK cameras for the police department.
Playground equipment at Sunset Park among other items.
The new Festus city budget is just shy of 30 million dollars.
