The City of Park Hills, Missouri, (population 8759) is seeking to fill the position of Utility Director for the Water and Wastewater Departments.
The City seeks an energetic, dedicated manager and self-motivated leader who can maintain a collaborative and supportive work environment to serve as its new Utilities Director. City prefers any equivalent combination of education and experience the City Council deems necessary to supervise all phases of operation of the systems. Must possess a Class B Water Operator License from the state of Missouri, A Water Distribution Certification and a Water Treatment Certification. Knowledge of equipment, methods and procedures used in water and wastewater operation including water plants, wastewater plants, collection systems, distribution systems, accounting and office procedures are also necessary. Must possess ability to supervise employees, deal effectively with the public, prepare budgets and exercise strong financial skills. Background in engineering, business and accounting preferable. Salary is negotiable. This is a full-time position with health insurance, retirement, sick and vacation benefits. EOE.
