Class 3 District 2 Volleyball Championship Preview
(Park Hills, MO) The Class 3 District 2 Volleyball Tournament comes to Regional Radio Tuesday evening. Our coverage will begin in the semi final round. Ste. Genevive at 18-6-2 will face off against Central at 9-12-4 in the first semi final match following the bye they received for being the top seed. 4th year head coach Jessica Hess gives her thoughts on what it’ll take to claim back-to-back district championships.
The Central Rebels defeated the Windsor Owls in two sets. Head coach Tracie Casey says she likes how her team has progressed up to this point.
The second semi final game features the Festus Tigers with a 15-9-2 record, who defeated North County in their first game of the tournament. They will take on Herculaneum Blackcats at 18-6 on the season. Herculaneum head coach Audrey Meda says her team will have to perform at the same level as their previous tournament win against Potosi.
