Class 3 District 3 Semis Tonight on J98

(CUBA) We’ve got a pair of Class 3, District 3 semifinal games tonight in Cuba on J98. Top seed Central takes on 4th seeded West County and 2nd seed Steelville is pitted against 3-seed Grandview.

The 23-1 Central Rebels are led by guard Skyler Amonette and forward Caitlyn Holmes. Head coach Josh Mapes needs those two to continue doing what they’ve done so well all season.

 
For the 17-8 West County Bulldogs and head coach Chris Brewer, there are several contributing factors to getting past the Rebels.

 
In the second semifinal match, the 21-4 Steelville Cardinals get a semifinal rematch from last year when facing Grandview. Coach Seth Collins strongly believes the leadership qualities of Hannah Cottrell and Abby Booker will help the team beat the Eagles again.

 
The Eagles are 21-2 and head coach Ronda Hubbard says for them to win districts, it simply comes down to playing stingy defense.
