(BONNE TERRE, Mo.) – Action from North County High School of Class 4, District 2 continues on J-98 Monday evening with girls basketball semifinals. This will be an exact rematch of the MAAA Conference Tournament semifinals, which featured the exact same teams.

In our first game of the night, the first-seeded Central Rebels do battle with the fourth-seeded Potosi Trojans. Central is 20-4 and has the 3-0 advantage in the season series with 11-15 Potosi.

Rebels head coach Josh Mapes was impressed with the the Trojans after a 63-53 victory over Potosi in the MAAA semis earlier this month.

Potosi is coming off of a 48-42 win over the Farmington Knights in the quarterfinals.
Trojans head coach Matt Bradley knows their offense must be better against Central.

For the second game of the night, the second-seeded Ste. Genevieve Dragons at 20-5 on the season take on the third-seeded North County Raiders who are 16-7.
Ste. Genevieve won the first matchup of the season in January between these two teams but the Raiders got them back in the MAAA semis.
Dragons head coach Jordanna Walk-Robison thinks her team has gained plenty from that loss.

After a 50-45 victory over Desoto in the quarterfinals, Raiders head coach Zac McVey says it’s all about doing whatever it takes to advance.

Catch the action of the Class 4, District 2 girls basketball semifinals with the Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show beginning at 5:45 Monday on J-98.
