(HILLSBORO) A Class 4 District 3 boys semifinal affair hits the KJFF airwaves Tuesday night from Hillsboro High School as the Hillsboro Hawks take on Jefferson County rival Festus.
It’s win-or-go-home for these two teams as the Festus Tigers enter the ring as the 4-seed at 17-9 overall. It’s the 3rd time Festus and Hillsboro will square off this season with the Hawks taking the first two, 67-51 and 52-45. Head coach Jason Therrell has an idea as to what it will take to beat Hillsboro this time around, but they have to be able to execute it.

Hillsboro is the top seed in the district tournament at 21-4 overall and is riding a 13-game winning streak into this matchup. Hawks head coach Dan Johnson says that the approach against Festus will be the same as the one during this 13-game run.
