Colder Temperatures and Snow Possible on Tuesday

(East Central/Southeast Missouri) Despite temperatures reaching into the low 70s under sunny skies on Monday, mother nature has a huge change in store for the Regional Radio listening area on Tuesday.

Ben Herzog is a Meteorologist with the National Weather Service in St. Louis. He says freezing temperatures and even snow is possible across the listening area.

However, Herzog mentions they can’t rule out some snow sticking with light accumulations on grassy surfaces.

The rain and snow chances moves out of the region on Tuesday evening. Behind the front, colder temperatures is expected.

A Freeze Warning has been issued for the listening area from 1am until 9am Wednesday morning.
