Cole Rickermann of Festus is the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Play It Forward Athlete of the Week

(FESTUS) Sophomore Cole Rickermann of Festus basketball is our latest Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Play It Forward Athlete of the Week!

Rickermann scored 37 points in a win over DeSoto last Friday and scored 17 in a win over Crystal City the Tuesday before. Rickermann also totaled 16 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, and a block in those two games.

Festus head coach Jason Therrell likes the sound of Rickermann winning this award.

Coach Therrell thinks that Cole will enjoy being Athlete of the Week, albeit for a short time.

Through 15 games this season, Rickermann is leading the team in points per game with 14.4. As far as totals are concerned for the sophomore, Rickermann leads the Tigers in assists, is 3rd in rebounds, 3rd in steals, and 2nd in blocks.

As part of the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Play It Forward Athlete of the Week Award, Cole Rickermann will receive a t-shirt, a certificate, and the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy will donate $25 to a non-profit of his choice.
