College Employee Found Deceased in Vehicle at Jefferson College Arnold Campus

(Arnold) According to authorities a Jefferson College employee was found deceased in their car on February 14 in the parking lot at the Arnold campus.
58-year-old Rosita Cooney of Imperial was a building services technician in custodial services at the Arnold campus.
Campus police report at around 3 that afternoon, Cooney was found by another employee in her car unresponsive.
Police have since been informed that Cooney had a history of heart complications.
At this point the death is not being considered suspicious.
Roger Barrentine is the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Jefferson College. He says Cooney will be greatly missed.
Cooney had been employed at the college for more than 15 years.
