Collins Scores Four Goals as Farmington Girls Soccer Tops North County on KREI

(Bonne Terre, Mo.) The Farmington Knights girls soccer team defeated the North County County Raiders by a final score of 5-1 tonight on KREI.

It was all Farmington from the opening whistle as they struck first with a goal from Emma Collins just eight minutes into the match.

Collins started an offensive onslaught in the second half of the match, pouring in three goals in a matter of ten minutes.

Collins would go on to net one more as she finished the day with four goals.

Her and Rielle LaCava were named our Applebee’s of Farmington Players of the Game as LaCava assisted on three of the five Farmington goals.

Farmington head coach Addae Rique says his team performed well for their first time playing together this year.

North County head coach Rob O’Keefe says he’s proud of the fight from his team considering a lot of them are playing multiple sports this summer.

The Farmington and North County girls soccer teams will square off once more coming up on Thursday at Farmington High School with kickoff scheduled for 5 o’clock.
