Comfort Zone Grief Support Group at Mercy Hospital Jefferson

(Festus/Crystal City) The Comfort Zone at Mercy Hospital Jefferson offers hope and healing to children ages 4 to 17 who have experienced the death of a loved one.

The support group meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on the last Thursday each month in the conference room at Mercy Hospice Jefferson.

Kelcey Johnson is the Bereavement Coordinator for the Comfort Zone. She provides an oversight of the free program.

Johnson tells us a project the kids worked on during the January meeting.

The next meeting for the Comfort Zone is planned for Thursday evening.
