Community Event Called “Oh, The Places You’ll Go” Hosted by Viburnum Parents as Teachers

(Viburnum) Viburnum Elementary School will host a community-wide event at the end of September.

Michelle Merseal, now in her eighth year as principal at the elementary school in western Iron County, is excited about Leah Conaway who is the district’s new Parents as Teachers instructor.

Principal Merseal says this event is actually something all age groups can take part in.

“Oh, The Places You’ll Go” begins Friday evening, September 30th at 5 o’clock on the parking lot of the Elmer P. Beard Gymnasium in Viburnum.

Food and snow cones will be available to purchase and each child who gets enrolled into the Parents as Teachers program that evening will receive a free snow cone.

Also, every child will have a chance to enter their name in a drawing for a cool prize.
