COMTREA tax credit still available
(Jefferson County) COMTREA still has more than $39-thousand in 55 percent tax credits remaining, from the $50-thousand awarded from Missouri Housing Development Commission Affordable Housing Assistance Program.
Kim Elbl is the VP of Fundraising and Development at COMTREA. She goes over who is considered an eligible donor.
Donations go back in helping support and develop Mary’s House of Hope at A Safe Place, transitional housing for victims of domestic violence.
Other than donating outright, COMTREA has an upcoming fundraising event for the shelter.
It’s a Designer Bag Bingo event that will be held on Saturday, April 9th at Villa Antonio Winery’s new Grand Pavilion in Hillsboro.
Mary’s House of Hope currently consists of four apartment units and Phase Two will add four additional living spaces.
