COMTREA’s 5th Annual Mardi Gras Fundraiser Coming Up on February 1

(Jefferson County) COMTREA’S 5th annual Mardi Gras fundraising event will take place on Saturday, February 1st at the Corpus Christi Center in Imperial and this years theme is Carnival De Paris.

Doors will open at 5:30 with live musical entertainment beginning at 8:30 that evening.

Kim Elbl is the Vice President of Fundraising and Development at COMTREA. She says they have a very popular band returning this year.

All proceeds benefit COMTREA’s A Safe Place domestic violence shelter, which serves Jefferson and surrounding counties.

Barb Tenholder is the Director of A Safe Place and she says this event is A Safe Place’s one and only yearly fundraising event.

Tickets are $100 with registration ongoing now through January 29th.
