(Fredericktown) Congressman Jason Smith, the Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives, will host a roundtable discussion Monday with health care professionals in Fredericktown.
The roundtable is an opportunity for health care professionals to share their ideas and proposals to improve and expand access to health care in rural and underserved communities.
The feedback Smith receives will help craft his legislative priorities in Washington.
The meeting will start at 11:35 Monday morning at Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown.
As part of the work with the Ways and Means Committee to expand access to health care, Smith released an open letter Tthursday to the health care community requesting comments and input on solutions, with a focus on bold, new proposals, that can help turn the tide against the very real disparities in health care access.
