Contested Circuit Court Judge and Associate Circuit Court Judge Republican races decided in Jefferson County

(Jefferson County) Jefferson County had a couple of contested races between Circuit Judge and Associate Circuit Judge.

For Circuit Judge in division 3 Travis Partney received the Republican bid after getting 58 percent of the overall vote or 14,940 votes.

Partney says he’s excited to get the nod as Circuit Judge.

Following Partney was Dianna Bartels with 5,794 votes and Michelle Hughes with 4,778. Partney will run unopposed in the November election.

For Associate Circuit Judge in Division 11, Juli Hand came out on top with the Republican nomination receiving 9,544 votes.

Jacob Costello followed with 7,325 votes, Lucas Null with 5,066 and Wes Yates with 3,437 votes. Partney will not be opposed in the General Election.
