Contracts Awarded for Road Improvement Projects in St. Francois & Shannon Counties

(Mineral City) The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its meeting on Wednesday.
A contract for a little over 120-thousand dollars was awarded to H.R. Quadri for tree clearing on Route 221 in St. Francois County from north of Mineral City near Henson Road.
Another contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company for pavement resurfacing in Shannon County on Route ‘E-E’ from Highway 19 to the end of state maintenance.
Additional information like timelines and impacts to traffic will be released before the start of construction.
