County Executive Dennis Gannon reflects on this past year

(Hillsboro) As things return back to as close to as normal as it’s ever been in over a year, several may be thinking more and more about the sacrifices and the difficult decisions that had to be made. Jefferson County Executive Dennis Gannon says it’s great to see people out and about, and the county sales tax numbers are positive.

Gannon says a lot of people had to come together to make a lot of changes.

Jefferson County remains in Yellow Status with the Covid-19 color guidance indicators. On Wednesday, the Jefferson County Health Department reported 13 new cases of Covid-19 in the county bringing in the total number of cases to 23,829 in the county since March of last year. This comes a day after there were 8 reported cases on Tuesday and none on Monday.
