(Potosi) The April 6th election ballot in Washington County is full of locally contested races for school boards, city council, fire boards and the local hospital board.

Jenny Allen is the county clerk for Washington County.

She says the most important vote is a countywide yes or no question.

Allen says those working the precincts on Election Day in Washington County will be keeping you safe.

She also tells us about a couple contested races on the ballot that’s getting a lot of buzz.

Voting hours are 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6th.

J-98 will have election returns from Washington County and 11 other counties after the polls close on election night.
